Christoph v. Taxis had a son, Carlo, whom became Postmaster of Deizisau, Württemberg (under the name Carlin von Taxis or Carlin von Daxis). I have a copy of a document which proves this. Carlo or Carlin was my husband's ancestor, and I have documented that line back to Carlin. If you would like a copy of the document, or copies of pertinent parish records of Deizisau, please write to me, and I will scan the records and e-mail them to you. It would be nice to see Carlo / Carlin mentioned on your website. (source: Das Reichspostami In Augsburg, (Kupferstich von 1616); and Deizisau, Württemberg parish records)
Although I have not documented this myself yet, according to other websites, Christoph von Taxis was the son of Antonius von Taxis, Austrian Court Postmaster in Augsburg. The other websites do not mention which of Antonius' 3 wives was the mother of Christoph. (source: )

The Schwennicke chart tells us that she was born in 1693, but the Habsburg genealogy tree in ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA tells us also 1683! THEY CAN'T ALL BE RIGHT!!! (source: Schwennicke and Encyclopedia Britannica)
I cannot get a remarks place up for his daughter Dona Francisca, but Schwennicke tells us that she died in 1766 rather than 1756. (source: Schwennicke)
To add to the confusion: The House of Savoia table gives his wife as "Mafalda de Albon" (source: ENCYCLOPEDIA UNIVERSAL ILLUSTRADA, see above)
And to really add the the confusion: The House of Savoia table gives his wives as following: 1) Faidiva de Tolosa; 2) Germana de Zeringen, by whom he had the daughter Adelaida, mar to Juan d'Angleterre; 3) Beatrix de Viena, by whom he had the daughter Leonora (Eleanora); 4) Gertrudis de Alsacia, by whom he had Tomas I!!! (source: ENCYCLOPEDIA UNIVERSAL ILLUSTRADA, see above)
So you want a little more confusion? The ENCYCLOPEDIA, etc, chart gives him a first wife of Beztriz Margarita de Ginebra, (no children) and a second wife of Margarita de Faucigny, by whom he had Amadeo IV. (source: ENCYCLOPEDIA UNIVERSAL ILLUSTRADA, see above)
The ENCYCLOPEDIA, etc, gives her a first husband of Guillermo de Ventemiglia (source: ENCYCLOPEDIA UNIVERSAL ILLUSTRADA, see above)

I cannot call up the remarks page for his famous daughter Anna Komnena, but she had two daughters, Irene and one, name unknown, who entered the convent of Cecharitomene, and two sons, Aleksios and Joannes. (source: ANNA COMNENA, by Georgina Buckler, OXFORD AT THE CLARENDON PRESS, first published 1929, reprinted 1968.)
Husband's first name was Konstantinos (source: ANNA COMNENA, etc, see above)
She was engaged to Gregorios Gabras, not married (source: ANNA COMNENA, etc, see above)
I cannot call up the remarks page for her daughter, but that daughter's name was Theodora. Theodora's other children, besides Michael VIII, were Maria-Martha, who married Nicholas Tarchaneiotes (their children were Andronikos, Michael Tarchaneiotes, Joannes, and Theodora); Eulogia, who married Joannes Angelos Kantacuzenos (their daughter was Maria, who married as her third husband Konstantinos Tich; Eulogis also had three other daughters); and Joannes. Theodora married a second time, husband's name not known, and had a son Konstantinos. (source: BYZANTIUM, THE DECLINE AND FALL, by John Julius Norwich, Copyright 1995, Alfred A Knopf, Inc. Genealogy table)
I should add that none of Anna Komnena's children took the Bryennius surname, they were Aleksios Komnenos, Joannes Doukas, Irene Doukas, and the other one. Also, if what I wrote was vague, it was both daughters who entered that convent. (source: ME)
The book about Anna Komnena is in english, however, the genealogy table just spells one thing in Greek, this man's wife's name. Apparently an untranslatable name, it is (as near as I can in non-greek alphabet): "eyyouos of Botaniates. (The " is an umlaut over the e) (source: ANNA COMNENA, see above)
I suspect he was the son of Eirene, daughter of Joannes II Komnenos. (source: various)
His daughter Anna Komnena's son Aleksios married a daughter of David II, King of Georgia, her son Joannes married a woman named Thoedora. (source: ANNA KOMNENA, by Rae Dalven, Twayne Publishers Inc, 1972)
That should be son of Eirene, daughter of Isaakios Komnenos, son of Joannes II Komnenos. (source: Me)
I cannot figure who this Theodora Komnena might have been. (source: ME)
(source: )
One source states that this Theodora, a widow, was the only surviving sister of Emperor Manuel Komnenos, that she was a widow and had retired to a convent, and Bela requested her hand in 1184. This hardly seems possible, age-wise, however! It doesn't say whether they were actually married, or not. (source: BYZANTIUM AND THE DANUBE FRONTIER, by Andrew B Urbansky, Twayne Publishers, Inc 1968)
I may have already given this information, but his first wife was Maria Skleraina. (source: Me)
Various sources say that her father's name was Inger, which is thought to be a Graecianization (?) of Ingvar, possibly of Swedish origin. (source: Various)
This has nothing to do with Charlemagne, but I cannot get a "use the URL" thing up for any of the Merovingans. Anyway, Chilperic I's "Queen" (actually, I believe, his concubine), and mother of his son Clothar II, was Fredegonde (ca 543-596). (source: Various)

To add to the confusion, the "GedBrowser, List of Individuals" website tells us that he was botn in 1321, and that he was married in 1338. Another website, cannot think of it at the moment, tells us that his wife Margareta was born in 1327. The source it lists is: "Essai sur la descendance de ST Louis."
