Remark 2592 of 13 November 2003 by Alejandro de Montalbán del Castillo; alejandro@cyberbusters.com referring to: Marie Clotilde Eugenie Alberte Letitia Genoveva Bonaparte

Marie-Clotilde and Comte Serge de Witt had several more issue than you list here. There is a more complete listing of this family at the website below, from which you may obtain their data. I would have written it myself, but to list the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, spouses, dates and places of birth and dates and places of marriage proved to be too daunting a task within the framework of time that I had available to me, for which I apologise. I believe that you will find this website very informative if you are not familiar with it already.I also would like to take this moment to thank you for such a wonderfully informative and useful site you have created. I cannot imagine the time and energy which must have gone into its creation and maintenence. It has been most helpful to me these past two years and I believe it to be the best of its kind that I have ever encountered. Thank you again. Remark 2645 of Wed Jan 28 18:02:11 MET 2004 by jennus@gmx.de referring to: Juliane v.M!uller

Juliane von Müller, heiratete Emanuel von Bülow (Sohn von Joachim v. Bülow und Anna v. Gast). Remark 2664 of 3-5-2004 by jos.geerdink@planet.nl referring to: Agnes de Donzi

Sir, In remark 2659 I commented on the double entry of Agnes de Donzi (+1225) in your database. Thanks you for your fast reply, but now it seems that she may have been entered three times: I56812, I56429 and I60117. Part of the confusion stems perhaps from the entry of her father Herve IV of Donzi (I60107) where it says that he had three children: 1. Agnes de Donzi (?-1225) 2. Guillaume de Donzi 3. Agnes de Donzy * de DonzyThe fact that Herve had two daughters both called Agnes seems very unlikely to me and certainly adds to the confusion. Agnes 1 was not married according to your database and Agnes 2 was married to Guy I of Chatillon but had no issue. As far as I understand it now, Agnes de Donzy (+1225), daughter of Herve IV of Donzy and Mahaut de Courtenay de Nevers, d'Auxerre et de Tonnerre, was married to Guy I de Chatillon (+1226), son of Gaucher III de Chatillon and Elisabeth de Soissons, heiress of St. Pol. They had two children: Gaucher (+1250) and Jolantha (+1254). The latter married Archambault X of Dampierre (+1249), Sire de Bourbon, and so brought Nevers into the Dampierre possensions.Note that Guy I de Chatillon (+1226) is entered twice: I56811 (with children) and I60118 (no children).Apart from this, I suppose that all accepted corrections will be entered in the online database as well as the CD-Rom. Am I right? (source: )

Remark 2667 of 3 May 2004 by isaacangelus@lycos.com referring to: Frowiza (v.Ungarn)

I would venture to guess that Adelheid was Frowiza's German name. Foreign princesses with strange names often took a name compatible with their adopted country, for example, Piroshka of Hungary, when she married Joannes Comnenus, took the name Eirene (Irene). And Queen Alexandra's sister, Princess Dagmar of Denmark, when she married the Czarvitch of Russia, changed her name to Maria Fedorovna. (source: Also me)

Remark 2671 of 4 Mai 2004 by isaacangelus@lycos.com referring to: Zoe (v.Byzanz)

There is a most interesting book: BYZANTIUM AND VENICE, which tells a great deal about the Byzantine Imperial family, as well as the early Doges of Venezia. It states, that Zoe was engaged in her late teens to Otto III, Holy Roman Emperor, was on her way to marry him, when news of his death reached her at Bari (on 24 January 1002). Remark 2672 of 5-5-2004 by jos.geerdink@planet.nl referring to: Konrad v.Burgund

Sir, who is this Konrad, King of Burgundy?? If I go to the only Konrad who became king of Burgundy (I158219), I do not see his wife Adele of Ufgau. He was married to two different women. (source: your database)

Remark 2673 of 5-5-2004 by jos.geerdink@planet.nl referring to: Heribert II de Vermandois

Sir, You state that Heribert II of Vermandois married twice. First he married Adela of Neustrie whose ancestors are not given, but the name suggests she is a descendant of Neustrie. Secondly, he married Hildebrante (Liegarde) of France, whose ancestors seem to be Robert of Neustrie(!!), King of France. TO my knowledge, Heribert II only married once. I assume that Adela of Neustrie and Hildebrante (Liegarde) are one and the same person. Do you agree? (source: your database and http://www.mittelalter-genealogie.de/heribertiner/heribert_2_graf_von_vermandois_943.html)

--Adela is daughter of Dux Robert de Neustrie. Hildebrande is sister or daughter of Hugo dux. She is given by SchwennickeII only. You can check my sources yourself --

Sir, My comment has nothing to do with Heinrich I but with the list of Bishops. Since your program doesn't allow me to make a comment there, I use this place to make my point. The problem lies in the list of bishops in the Holy Roman Empire. For instance, Merseburg lists the bishops of Metz, Metz lists Minden and Minden lists Muenster.I have not checked the other episcopal sees (source: your own database)
